"The Purpose"The Ivy Center for Education was founded for the purpose of improving educational opportunities for the children of the Pine Bluff, AR, Jefferson County Community. The Center involves our children in cultural events to expand their horizon beyond television and video games.

The Ivy Center for Education, Inc., (ICE) was incorporated May 21, 2004. Created based on the needs of the youth in the Pine Bluff, AR community which includes: achieving academic excellence, college graduate preparation, crime rate reduction, a decrease in the high school dropout rate, and to fill the void of parental apathy.
Our Program has created a strategic roadmap in the following areas of self-esteem, motivation, communication, and character building. The objective of the program is to expose our children in the community to a vast array of opportunities, such as:
